Zignago Power s.r.l. was created in 2008 in Fossalta di Portogruaro, with the aim of meeting the energy demand of the Zignago Group, using renewable energy sources.
In the same year and with the same purpose it also founded Bagnolo Power s.r.l.. The production of energy from biomass, along with the installation of Solar panels, demonstrates the commitment of the group to be in harmony with nature.
General context
The whole economy is dependent upon fossil fuel sources which are currently low and considered to be the cause of the ongoing climate change.

Over the years there has been a relentless increase in the cost of energy, a key factor which affects the cost of the finished product, affecting competitiveness in the marketplace.
The Zignago Power project faithfully follows the ethos of the Marzotto family, which has been in the area for 70 years, with activities for business development which incorporate social vision and ethics.
The work follows in the footsteps of Count Gaetano, who, in the forties, has helped to enhance the resources of the territory.
